Cheryl Gleason, President

Best known as the Art Director/Curator at the MACC (Mills Station Arts & Culture Center), Cheryl brings a wealth of experience and a passion for the arts to her role as President of Rancho Cordova Arts. She received her B.A. at University of California at Davis in Fine Arts with a minor in Art History, and her M.S. in Education from California State University East Bay.

Cheryl’s background spans art curation, education, management, and community leadership. Prior to her tenure at the MACC, Cheryl served as the Director of Training at Nugget Market. She currently serves as a Commissioner of Arts & Historic Preservation for the City of West Sacramento. She also serves as a leader for ‘Arts Now’, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to arts education in schools across California.

As President of Rancho Cordova Arts, Cheryl is dedicated to advancing the organization’s purpose of promoting and developing the visual arts through inspiring programs, events and classes. She is a driving force for positive change in the cultural landscape of Rancho Cordova.
